This Privacy Policy describes how SelectCarQuotes (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit selectcarquotes.com (the “Site”), submit quote-request or contact forms, or otherwise interact with our Services. This Policy applies to visitors and users of the Site in the United States. SelectCarQuotes operates a quote-request and marketing platform. We are not an insurance carrier. Licensed agents and insurers that receive your information for quote follow-up may have their own privacy notices that also apply once they contact you.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect:

• Contact and quote details you provide, such as name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, insurance type (for example, Auto Insurance or Homeowners Insurance), message content, and consent selections.
• Technical and usage data, such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP.
• Communication records, such as emails you send us or form submissions stored in our inbox/database tools.
• Cookies and similar technologies needed for Site function and, where used, analytics or advertising measurement.

We do not knowingly ask for Social Security numbers or payment card numbers on the public Site quote forms.

We do not sell personal information as a public “data dump.” When we share lead information with insurance marketing partners, it is to fulfill your quote request and related consent—not to list your data for unrelated bulk sale. 5. Phone, SMS, and TCPA-related consent

When you check a consent box on our forms, you authorize the calls, texts, and related contacts described in that language. Consent is not required to purchase insurance. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. You can revoke phone/SMS consent by replying STOP to a text or emailing contact@selectcarquotes.com. Email opt-out instructions appear in marketing emails where required.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use essential cookies so the Site functions (for example, security and form features). We may also use analytics cookies or pixels to understand how the Site is used and to improve quote flows. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect Site features.

10. Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
